Verizon is out. Out out out. My phone cannot make or receive phone calls. Coincidentally, I am trying to finalize quotes and production on a product for [my second job I have to pay for].

I’ve switched to my actual job’s office phone, but I really do try and keep those two separate as much as possible.

The one day I need my phone to be a phone, and it refuses. Typical.

wtf is with massive phone service outages over the last week. Comcast had a huge outage last week, east coast style, Windstream had a massive outage earlier this week (lots of business customers affected), now this... is someone attacking our phone lines or something?

Serious thought - if someone really wanted to wreak havoc all they would have to do is chop through a bunch of different major city to city fiber optic bundles at the same time.

The DC area is orange on your map but I just called my work cell from my personal cell, both on Verizon, and it worked fine. The call was CDMA instead of VoLTE but that often happens around my office because it’s such a congested area full of too many people’s phones trying to use the same towers.
